Instructions

  1. Step 1: In food processor, add chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, and cilantro
  2. Step 2: Pulse until mixture is coarse, not pureed
  3. Step 3: Add cumin, coriander, cayenne, salt, pepper, flour, and baking powder
  4. Step 4: Pulse until combined
  5. Step 5: Transfer to bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes
  6. Step 6: Form mixture into 16 small patties or balls
  7. Step 7: Brush each with olive oil
  8. Step 8: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
  9. Step 9: Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
  10. Step 10: Place falafel in single layer, not touching
  11. Step 11: Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
