Instructions
- Step 1: In food processor, add chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, and cilantro
- Step 2: Pulse until mixture is coarse, not pureed
- Step 3: Add cumin, coriander, cayenne, salt, pepper, flour, and baking powder
- Step 4: Pulse until combined
- Step 5: Transfer to bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- Step 6: Form mixture into 16 small patties or balls
- Step 7: Brush each with olive oil
- Step 8: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
- Step 9: Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
- Step 10: Place falafel in single layer, not touching
- Step 11: Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
- Step 12: Serve warm in pita with tahini sauce and vegetables
